Well looks as if we are finally on the way. Everything is packed, the boat is on, French Champagne is chilled. We didnt think this day would ever come now it has we are in disbelief. We are just waiting for our daughter Carla to come and do a final check with our laptop and other bits and pieces. The above pictures are of the final vehicle prep and also our cheeky neighbours Rosie and Jack, who we will miss immensely,along with Lisa and John and dog Rex. Thank goodness for modern technology, computers and mobile phones. Hopefully we can good enough reception to be able to update the site regularly.

Nearly Ready

Well countdown is really on now, we hope to leave on Friday morning. Will only travel as far as Crows Nest via Kilcoy and Esk. Having a few problems connecting wireless broadband, as we are in a black spot here, have to walk up to the back of the block to get reception.

This is a pic of one of the things that we will miss, my garden, the birds and wildlife, this gorgeous Koala was in the trees down at the front of the block and was chased down the tree by numerous birds, I guess they had a nest higher up.
